Chipotle Chicken Burgers Recipe

These burgers are full of flavour and so juicy. Make sure you grease the grill well and cook them right from the fridge, so that they don’t fall apart.
Ingredients
- 1 large clove garlic
- small handful parsley or cilantro
- ½ of a medium onion, roughly chopped
- ¼ cup red or yellow pepper (about ¼ of the
- pepper)
- 1 chipotle pepper from the can with about
- 1-2 Tbs. of sauce from the can (depends on
- your spice preference)
- 1 lb. minced chicken
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp. Kosher salt
- Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

Mince the garlic and parsley or cilantro in the bowl of a food processor. Add the onion, red or yellow pepper and chipotle pepper in sauce to the food processor, mince. Transfer to a large bowl.

Add chicken to the bowl with the vegetable mixture, mix by hand, add breadcrumbs, sprinkle with salt and pepper, mix again.

Form in 4 4-oz patties or 8 2-oz sliders.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes before grilling. In the meantime, preheat grill to med-high.

Grease grates of grill well. Grill burgers on med-high for about 4 minutes per side or until they release from grill without much effort and have developed nice grill marks on each side.

Serve with guacamole or chopped avocado. Makes 4-8 burgers/sliders

- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Chicken and turkey reheat well in the oven at 325°F to keep the meat moist.

- Absolutely. Cool completely and store in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
