Sushi House Salad with Sesame Dressing Recipe

Don’t you love the dressing on the sushi house green salad? Well, look no further, here it is.
Ingredients
- Sesame Dressing (makes over ½ cup)
- About ⅛th or less of an onion (a small
- wedge)
- ½ of a small carrot, peeled
- ½ of a small piece of celery
- 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled
- 3 tbsp neutral-flavoured oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp toasted white sesame seeds
- 1-2 tbsp cold water, optional, more or less
- to thin the dressing

- ½ of an iceberg or Boston lettuce (or any
- salad leaf you like), torn into pieces
- 1 large tomato, cut into wedges
- 1-2 carrots, julienned
- ½ of an English cucumber, julienned
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp toasted black and white sesame
- seeds
Instructions

In a blender or food processor mix all the dressing ingredients together until smooth (with a bit of texture).

Prepare the salad ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Lightly dress the salad with as much dressing as you like and serve additional dressing on the side. Serves 4.
