Easy Couscous with Chickpeas Recipe

Adding chickpeas to the couscous is delicious and provides additional protein and texture.
Ingredients
- 1¾ cup chicken broth
- 1½ cup couscous
- ½ cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
Instructions

Place stock in a small pot, bring to a boil

Turn the heat off and add the couscous, chickpeas and salt. Stir and immediately cover and let steam for 5-10 minutes.

Remove lid and fluff with a fork, breaking up any clumps.

Reheat over low heat, stirring and fluffing until hot. Serves 4
